#DigCompOrg - An opportunity to address the transformation of educational organisations by using technology as a key facilitator for the successful implementation of this process.

General Description

Society faces many challenges due to the continuous changes brought by the increasing speed of technological developments and their imprint on different human processes (economic, productive, cultural, etc.)

Educational organisations are aware of this fact, notably as their main aim is to educate the citizens of the future. The need to improve all processes which take place in an educational organisation, not just the academic ones but also its organisational processes, as well as the necessity to give answers to a society that must learn how to face uncertainty, make us look at technology as the answer to adopt a systemic focus in the transformation of our educational organisations. In this new edition it presents the self-diagnostic tool "SELFIE". A tool designed to help schools to highlight what’s working well, where improvement is needed and what the priorities should be.

Insigina Digital

This MOOC, beside providing participants with the oportunity to know the Digitally Competent educational Organisations Framework by JRC (Joint Research Centre, European Commission, Seville) and how to use it in the process of improvement of their educational organisations, enables the participation in different social spaces and networks so as to provide teachers with a collective construction of knowledge and new professional competences relted to the topics studied in the course.

At the end of the activities, you will be able to gain a digital badge stored in the Insignias INTEF backpack that is awarded as recognition for the learning throughout the MOOC.
